VCPS Journal

Introduction

The VCPS Journal is a biannual publication produced by the Victorian Carnivorous Plant Society. It is an important way for VCPS members to communicate their ideas, knowledge and experiences. It becomes more so for members that cannot make it to the meetings. Apart from some of the best original CP photos you will see anywhere it contains articles on field trips,cultivation techniques,observations,thoughts, experiments etc. involving carnivorous plants. We like to keep the journal diverse and interesting and ask all members to write an article each year. Something that you might take for granted about your plants could be absolutely fascinating to someone else, so why not give it a try?.We also welcome articles from non members. You can submit articles electronically or by standard post,please see the contact pagefor contact details.Rather than sending your article through the contact page please ask for an email address to send it directly to.
In addition to the journal, the VCPS also produces two newsletters per year. These communicate general news and provide summaries of the VCPS meetings as a way to keep members updated about society activities in between the release of each journal. The newsletters are free to download for both members and non-members.

Journal Catalogue

This listingis a catalogue of every article that has appeared in the pages of the VCPS Journal, from Vol 1 No 1 to No 67. In early editions of the Journal, Journals were split in Volumes. This system was later abandoned, and each journal was consecutively numbered. Journal No 67 was published in June, 2003. Thanks goes to Peter Bloem for preparing the catalogue.
