We endured another big day of driving from Palopo to Tentena which included a few detours along the way to see the "Giant Red form" of N. mirabilis and N. tomoriana with their vivid bright red lids in the lowlands around Malili. We then drove up and through the mountain range on the eastern side of Lake Poso where we found several more orchid species in flower including Coelogyne celebensis, Bulbophyllum laxiflorum and Dendrobium lancifolium and some large coloured Nepenthes maxima pitchers that were up to 25cm in size.
